2017 Garden news – Initial concept plan

In 2017 Rosie met with Garden Deisigner Nicki Jackson, to draw an initial concept plan for the Healing Garden. Armed with this plan Rosie presented her idea to the directors of Harefield and the RBH Charity agreed to support a proportion of the fundraising needed to build the garden. Rosie also began speaking to patients, staff and visitors, to gain more insight into what a healing garden would mean to them and how it would be used, with the help of Stephanie from the Occupational Therapy team, who devised a questionnaire. The outcome of these conversations and questionnaires can be found on our home page. This was the start of Rosie’s journey into understanding exactly the kind of space the healing garden needs to become.
