Alscot Lodge open garden

Jim and Karen Eyre kindly opened their fabulous gardens at Alscot Lodge near Princes Risborough in aid of the Harefield Healing Garden. This is a garden that had never previously been open to the public and as well as giving people a rare opportunity to see the beautifully landscaped and planted garden, there was a sale of interesting plants grown by Head Garden Richard Maskell.  Richard also gave us enlightening demonstrations of how to prune roses.  Tea and delicious home made cakes were provided by friends and volunteers.
